Mount Forato

Turn right onto this trail to a nearby Marginetta. It avoids the path N# 124 turning right and climbing up to Foce of Petrosciana here there are two possibilities:
FIRST POSSIBILITY: climb along the ridge on the trail N#. 110 and follow him up to the beautiful natural arch, from Foce di Petrosciana for approximately 1 hour and a total of 3 hours, the descent is recommended that the trail N#. 12 north side, the first part is a steep descent and gravelly then more sweeter until casa del Monte m. 923 where we find the junction with the trail N#. 131. Here, turn right and go back with that trail at the Foce di Petrosciana to resume the route total time 6 hours. The ascent of Forato by Foce di Petrosciana with the path just described for the descent is steep at the finish but with fewer technical difficulties. The reverse round down the Forato trail N#. 110, is not recommended because it is very technical.
SECOND POSSIBILIY: ascent to Mount Forato by Foce di Petrosciana by the via ferrata crest of the beautiful Forato, required is the equipment for ferrata. Climbing by Foce di Petrosciana along the crest with trail N#. 110 there is the crossroads reported that brings us at the via ferrata for the total time of the trail, we must add about 30 minutes to the previous possibility.

For the return you can choose to retrace the path or take the reverse trail N#. 121 until the "Foce di Grattaculo" (1 hour and a half) then turn left on the trail N#. 3 until the " Foce del Pallone" and finally on the left to the parking.
