Le Mezzane is set in the midst of a region which is rich in naturally beautiful places to see and discover. Places of naturalistic interest and small hamlets whose charm and traditions of bygone times have made this area precious and unique. The Apuan Natural Park is a world to explore:
Stazzema L'Antro del Corchia, Le Marmitte dei Giganti (the potholes of the giants), La Torbiera di Fociomboli (the peat-moss of Fociomboli), the mountain pastures of Mosceta and of Puntato, Mount Procinto and Mount Forato (the pierced rock), the museum of the environment at Pruno, the memorial shrine to the fallen and the historical museum of the Resistance at Sant'Anna di Stazzema.
Gallicano "La Rocca di Tarssilico", the didactic path through chestnut woods and "metati" (small stone huts used for drying chestnuts) and the balconies decorated with flowers at Cardoso.
Minucciano La Valle di Orto di Donna (the valley of the woman's garden), the old church of Gorfigliano and the Stele statues in the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso.

Molazzana The Panie chain, the small villages of Sassi and Cascio, the Alps of S. Antonio, "Le Rocchette" the practice wall for free climbing.
Vagli di Sotto Il Circo glaciale (the glacial cirque) and the LIPU oasis of Campocatino, the San Viano Hermitage, the church of Sant'Agostino, Vagli Lake, the Arnetola valley and the amphitheatre of Cava Borella.
Fabbriche di Vallico The 17th century mill for the production of biological flour, the grotto of Castelvenere and Il Poggetto the "Val di Turrite dam".

Pescaglia the Galgani iron-foundery, The Chestnut Museum at Colognora, Mount Piglione, the Pedogna Valley.

Vergemoli La Grotta del Vento (the grotto of the wind), the Calomini Hermitage and Moun Forato (the pierced rock) and the Panie chain.
Vetriano the little theatre of Vetriano included in the Guinness Book of Records 1997 as the smallest historical public theatre in the world.

Celle dei Puccini (Giacomo Puccini's house). In this family house the rooms have been perfectly preserved with the family furniture, portraits, letters, the piano on which il Maestro composed part of Madam Butterfly, the phonograph given to Puccini by Thomas Edison, papers and music notes.

Borgo a Mozzano Il Ponte della Maddalena also called The Devil's Bridge due to ancient legend, and its Halloween celebration.
Barga a town of remarkable interest, has been recognised as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, nominated Orange Flag Touring Club and "slow town", all of which are prestigious tourist qualities.

Castelnuovo Garfagnana The Ariostesca Rock, the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, the town theatre Vittorio Alfieri and the fortress of Mount Alfonso.
